I had a nice dining experience in the French restaurant Le Cote D'Azur, in the capital of Laos. Due to its French colonial heritage, Vientiane has several goos French restaurants and a french expat community.

I began the meal with a delicious salad.

The presentation was on a different level than what was available at local cuisine establishments.

The lamb stew I had as an entree was very good too.

I think the tab for this "fancy meal" was around $12 including wine.
