I stumbled upon a friends & family night at a new place opening on Grove -- Betel. Apparently, it's the American outpost of two successful restaurants in Australia. Dark, kind of loungey. Didn't see a menu.
Said a friend who lives nearby: "We already have two Australian restaurants in the neighborhood, and they both suck."
Said a friend who recently returned from 3 months in Australia: "Why an Australian restaurant? The food sucks over there."
