I was very sad to hear this yesterday. I might have to dig out my DVD of "I'm All Right Jack"

For me, he's always Bertie Wooster. I recall the series, with Dennis Price as Jeeves, from my early childhood. And indeed he was a constant presence on TV when I was growing up in British comedy films like "School for Scoundrels" with Terry-Thomas as well as "I'm Alright Jack."

I enjoyed him as Lord Peter Wimsey which ran here on PBS in the 1970s.
