I have been using Bank of America for business banking, and I have finally had it with the ridiculous fees for everything. I've searched without luck so far for sites which offer consumer comparisons of banking services. Any ideas about how I can find something better?

I've heard good things about New York Commercial Bank. I've not used them, myself. The bank has a significant business share on Long Island.

My only complaint was that if they need to charge me $30 because they're robbing the duck to pay the boar they might as well give me a more substantial portion of flour, water, and bits of meat.

http://www.thedigeratilife.com/blog/index....-bank-features/ for a review. I didn't read it thoroughly, it is however one of the first search results that came up.

Not sure about your request for comparisons, but: we've used Bache-->Prudential Bache-->Wachovia-->Wells Fargo for our business account forever (well, since 1985). It's basically an investment account but we keep everything in cash or MMF. There's a $150 annual fee, but no per-check or per-deposit charge and as far as I can tell, no minimum deposit. We no longer use the debit/ATM card, so I don't know what the fee would be. As I recall when Paul used it in Siberia in 2008, the only charges were 2% international transaction fees. When we did use it for purchases, there was nothing extra.

Chase allow you to link your business account to your personal account so that if you're not liable to fees on the latter, there are none charged on the former.

Sovereign Bank has no fee business accounts for low transaction volume (< 300/month) use.
I think that is the danger of keeping a blog: you exaggerate everything
