Anyone have any good info on fine dining in the Canary Islands, appropriate for a business dinner?

Which island?

In general stay away from hotel restaurants and beef. The latter is usually brought over frozen from the peninsula.

If you're in Lanzarote you might want to try Los Diablos where they grill stuff over the magma bubbling under the Timanfaya National Park. Not particularly good food but austere César Manrique architecture, splendid views and guaranteed to impress non-foody James Bond fans.
A dress is neither a tragedy nor a painting it is a charming and ephemeral creation, not an everlasting work of art. Fashion should die and die quickly in order that commerce may survive.

Food or frock?
