For anyone who can't get enough of Barcelona, I started a couple of weeks of posts on the Pink Pig today about a trip to the region ten years ago. Amazing how much has stayed more or less the same.

If the author could go around the place hitting random readers with a rubber hammer, the Pink Pig would still be worth a visit.

The old Mundial was wonderful - haven't been since it was refurbished a year or two ago. It was originally a boxers bar and reading about it put me in mind of the brilliant Arthur Cravan and his 1916 (?) 'fight' with Jack Johnson at the Plaza Monumental, the old Plaza de Toros at Plaza Espana.
