Not to excuse a product you found unacceptable, but I think of
Roland as focussed more on foodservice than consumer products. Premade glazes, vinegars, packaged "exotic" foods, to make it easy for the average restaurant to emulate high-end stuff. Least common denominator in some items, I guess.
The service -- or lack thereof -- at Fairway is a bigger issue for me.
