Does anyone know if a TomTom or other navigation system can be used in different regions? I mean, if I were to buy a system in the US with the US maps pre-loaded, would it be possible to buy additional maps for Europe and use it over here?

Summarizing, then, we assume that relational information is not subject to a corpus of utterance tokens upon which conformity has been defined by the paired utterance test.

It's possible, but in most cases they'll charge you about the same amount for the software as they do for a brand new system.
I think that is the danger of keeping a blog: you exaggerate everything

Indeed. Although, looking on Amazon it seems like some come pre-loaded with both:
Garmin nüvi 270 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
I think I've used Garmin once, it seemed to update quite quickly and was accurate. But I"ve used TomTom and been quite happy with that too.
Only bad experience: rented Audi whose navi system took us to a local "gas station" that has been an architecture firm for at least five years. And the older ones used to really take too much time updating to be of any serious use in a city.

For anyone who is in the market, this has worked really well so far, both in the US and in Europe.
Only hiccup was it got very confused in Innsburck, either because of the almost entirely pedestrian medieval town in the center or because the mountains surrounding the city were blocking a few sattelite feeds it uses for triangulation. Once we got on the highway it was fine though.
