Yes, I would not recommend smell, touch or taste when it comes to old cock selection. Opinions differ though. Adam 2/3/05

I'm still sick and too busy to go home and get in bed. :D Self-employment has its downsides.

So sorry, Ron. :D

A colleague who suffers from chronic sinusitis swears by nasal irrigation - he used to get stuffy once a month, and now gets sick maybe once a year. I'm going to try it.

Allergy attack. Woke up sneezing in the middle of the night. Have barely stopped since. Right eye watering like a mother-f***er. Am about to go after the nasal passages with saline solution spray (that usually helps).

Thanks. Mine is just twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring right when the weather changes. Starts with sore throat and progresses to full blown head cold. Its a bummer.

Are you sure it's not some sort of allergy? I used to have the same problem until I saw an allergist who gave me about 50 scratch tests and other tests only to inform me that my very mild childhood asthma, which had disappeared, had come back and that while I am not 'allergic' to the pollen, mold, etc. flying around when the seasons change it does irritate me as it does those with true allergies. Not so oddly, these respiratory issues arose post 9/11 in the immediate aftermath of which my East Village neighborhood was noxiously fumy and a fine gritty dust drifted onto the sills and in the windows for weeks.

Feel better soon. And when you get home have my granny's cure: a shot of bourbon topped with boiling water and mixed with lemon juice and either honey or stem ginger in syrup.

My left eustachean tube is so clogged that I can barely hear out of my left ear and my equilibrium is all screwed up. And I have to get on a plane in the morning. Ugh.

Whoa! That plane thing can be a killer. Do you have some meds or something to drain your ear? Otherwise, major ache.
That shit cray.

looking for an apartment.

"Hi, I'm calling about your listing on the nytimes - a 1,400 sq. ft. triplex in the west village for $2000"

"Which listing is that?"

"Listing ID 276TQW-56"

"Oh, that's no longer available, but if you tell me what you're looking for I can find something else for you"

"How about Listing 5u7345?"

"Not available either"

"So why did you just list it 5 minutes ago?"

"Must be a mistake"

"Let's see then...Listing 389sfbe3445" (number I made up, just to see)

"Rented already. You have to understand these apartment rent real fast"

"But I just gave you a bogus id, how did you check it?"

"Ah...oh...my mistake, yes, it shows as not in the system".

I've wondered about that myself. I should ask a doctor.

Also, either we have the same granny, or your granny stole that recipe from my granny.

Orik, perhaps you were playing the cheese shop game, where you are supposed to spend half an hour or so bickering before you get to:

"Do you in fact have any apartments to rent at all?"

"Er...No, sir, I was delibarately wasting your time."
