I am wondering why you were allowed at the interview.

If the author could go around the place hitting random readers with a rubber hammer, the Pink Pig would still be worth a visit.

That's where he blew it, showing up for the interview. The interviewer spotted a "problem."

Even better - you got your niece to ask if you could hang out with the models?

Apparently all of the interviews for the show include a warning that, if hired, the person must behave professionally and may not permit guests (viz: uncles) to show up.

My neice got a job as a production assistant on the Victoria's Secret Runway Show. During the interview, the interviewer stressed that I was not allowed on the set.

Some friends of mine did the wings for the angels on that show a couple of years back. I don't know if they are still doing them, but they had photos of themsleves with Tyra Banks.

UP*%#!!S. They can't arrange for a better time for delivery. They can't leave the packages in the garage like everyone else does. They arrange for pickup but the directions on mapquest are wrong. There's no phone number to reach the local place and the directions from UPS 1-800 are also wrong. I would think it was my mistake but for some reason a lot of the roads on one side of town are marked wrong -- this has happened before. I think the town was planning off-ramps at some point in the future and never bothered to put them in. ARGH!!!

At least two of my male coworkers have recently incorporated baseball caps into their daily ensembles. Baseball caps which they never take off. What gives??

Can you tell I still haven't gotten over the dope who, last year, showed up in full Red Sox regaglia on the day of every playoff game?

How about guys who wear baseball caps in a restaurant and don't take them off?

I could not imagine wearing a baseball cap to the office. Ball caps are reserved for wearing to games, or weekend mornings when one is too hungover to shower and comb one's hair.
