Would starting a thread (or a discussion on current thread) about the vagaries of the health insurance system be a political discussion by proxy? Am I using the term "by proxy" correctly in this instance?

Not having office visit or prescription drug coverage on the only health insurance you can currently afford is annoying. My dentist is so hot, and now he can't gaze into my mouth anymore unless I give him cash.
