Me too - I once kept a black leather bag going a year longer than it should have.

It came complete with a picture of Dennis the Menace, with a speech bubble: "Sorry, Mr, Wilson!"
When my boyfriend opened it, he yelled: "Oh shit! It's a contrite and humorous apology note!"
Now I can't persecute and villify them anymore. Will have to find a new target.
