Holiday is over, and home is hotter than where I went on vacation, but also infinitely more humid too, and why don't they have air-conditioning in subway stations here like they do in Spain? But it's okay, everyone's on strike, there's no day care, and I don't even get a day off for the Gipper. <_<

Taking care of baby significantly inhibiting Yankees watching. ;)
“And another thing. You don't have to "move on" either. Not until you're ready. People say, Oh, you should be grateful. They say, Oh, it's time for you to move on. I'm like, What are you, a cop with a nightstick? I'll move on when I'm done playing the blues on my harmonica, thank you very much.

Really, people will tell you all kinds of garbage. Don't believe it.

You don't have to move on until you're ready.”

Grenada: glass of chilled local lager and a plate of fresh grilled prawns, or stewed pork belly, or setas with mixed offal - two dollars. Philadelphia airport: "Special today is beef sandwich and a beer, ten bucks."

The Sopranos episode is on again tonight...

I switched from the TONYs to the Sopranos from 9 - 10. And I missed my friend Audra's acceptance speech, dammit.

Subtle. :P

Is that what drew the "Fuck you" PM? I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Jerry's? Only went there once, so can't remember if it's good. Worth a look, maybe.

My guess would be because most of the subway stations are too close to the surface. A lot of the AC would go straight up the ventilation grates. There is AC in Grand Central, which is a little deeper--too bad it ends up making the platform extremely chilly.

But just wait, the stations will be nice and cool in about 6 months. :P

I clicked on a link that took me to msn.com. Damn Microhard not only hijacked my browser's home page, it wiped out all my cookies.

Shouldn't that be illegal? ;)

I like blue cheeses in general. To my rough and ready tastes, Stilton is a favourite. But Spanish blues can also be sublime if the balance is right.
