My only complaint was that if they need to charge me $30 because they're robbing the duck to pay the boar they might as well give me a more substantial portion of flour, water, and bits of meat.

I had the great pleasure of hearing Brett do a presentation at the IACP conference, and talking with him after, in a more casual setting. He's great! If he recommends a place, I would be there in a flash. As it happens, I've eaten at five of his top ten (three of them this year), and hope to hit the others.

Thanks for the links RP. I will be down to New Orleans the weekend before Thanksgiving. I am going for a party at Galatoires but I do have a few other places to check out. I read of a couple of new places to dine at. It looks like it might be a weekend of first lunch/second lunches, take a nap then head to dinner with the possibility of a late night snack.
