Never mind that the rest of you are getting I-Phones, that's not gonnah happen here for awhile...But I was forced to upgrade my trusty three year old cell phone yesterday, and got one that has Bluetooth, so now I want an earpiece...I saw a ton of affordable ones on eBay....Does anyone have a brand or model they really love, or dislike?
Thanks,

I don't own one, but I've heard quite a few good things about the Jawbone - RanchoGordo might have one.

I use to have the motorola kind that attached over your ear and HATED it, it never stayed on.

We just got the plantronics discovery and I love it. I fits in your ear and comes with 3 different size ear pieces. It has good sound and paired very easily. and it seems to hold it's charge well.

I have a Jawbone. It comes with several over-the-ear supports and in-ear inserts, so you can get a pretty comfortable fit. The noise-canceling feature works surprisingly well.

I love my Jawbone--worth the extra money because the noise-cancellation is much better.

So, my research is showing an Aliph Jawbone, and then one with Noise Assassin that costs a lot more. Are you all talking abut the one with Noise Assassin, or will the regular one do?

I went through several of those cheap-ish Motorolas. they are crap and you'll end up buying many.
The jabone was ok and I didn't love it but then we got the law here in Calif that says you must be hands free so I dug it out again and after switching the earpieces around discovered I really love it. Don't do what I did and accept the factory fittings.

both joan and I have Plantronics sets at home and I would trust them as well if they're cheaper but I'm guessing they'd be about the same.

For merely wearing one, no, but if their concentration on the conversation is interfering with the responsibility of driving, then go ahead and bring them back to the real world.
