Following the discussion about butters and how much the prices differ in various areas, I thought I'd sample prices for various typical products that people actually buy. Here's a list from the West Caldwell NJ shoprite. Purely arbitrary list, of course:
SunChips $3.49 for a 10.7 oz bag
2# carrots for 1.50
Maxwell House coffee $3.69 for 11oz
20% fat ground beef (store brand) 2.39 per #
Cottonelle toilet paper 4pk for 3.69
Land o'Lakes butter $2.39 per #
Organic Valley butter $5.99 per #
PepsiCola 2L bottle $1.11 each
Birdseye Peas and pearl onions (frozen) 3 / $5
Fresh spinach $1.69 per #
Tiny asparagus $1.99 per #
Balthazar pain au levain $2.99 for 1.5#
Milk:
Organic Valley 3.49 for a half gallon
Horizon same price
ShopRite regular half gallon $2.19
ShopRite organic gallon $3.99 (brand new item, so this prob isn't a real price)

My only complaint was that if they need to charge me $30 because they're robbing the duck to pay the boar they might as well give me a more substantial portion of flour, water, and bits of meat.

Not sure about the rest but I bought a pound of this today at Costco for CDN$4.39. Prices for most of your items seem low to me except for the TP. And I wouldn't know from Maxwell House
I cannot get ruddy frozen pearl onions here!!! Another thing I buy when I am in the States.
