Just found the name and concept rather fascinating...

cabbages and condoms

history
“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

We had a rather tasty dinner at the Bangkok restaurant eight years ago. We went out of curiosity, not expecting a good meal or such a nice setting.

There were condoms everywhere, most notably between the glass plated tabletops.

Oh. I see. It's not quite what I thought it was. Actually quite admirable.

Not having opened the link, I'm thinking of a place with a two-item menu like the Frog and Peach.

I'm sure that the condom stuffed with cabbage is great -- kind of like a cabbage sausage with a good springy casing -- but I'm having trouble imagining how the cabbage stuffed with condoms could amount to much.

it's the sauce over the condom stuffed cabbage that really makes that dish
