Within the last 6 months or so, I've been walking down the street, with a narrow pavement, and Steven Spielberg in a group of adults and children has been coming up. Both times, I caught his eye and smiled and kind of nodded. He has nodded back. He seems like such a nice man, but I can't stand his movies.

Who've you seen?

“One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. 'Oh, no!', I said, 'Disneyland burned down.' He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.”

I could've sworn there was a thread like this before, but I can't seem to find it....

I worked as a catering coordinator for the Music Center in Los Angeles and put together events for more celebrities than I can name. Dining in around Hollywood, there is barely an eatery you can go to without bumping into someone famous. I'm sure Hollywood would concur.

I see "famous" people all the time in NYC. They look like people.

I was looking for it, too.

those of you who've met me, tell the truth: what was it like for you? did i seem approachable?

It was tough getting through your entourage. The dog handlers, limo drivers, super models, security thugs, and personal nutritionist.

But, you seemed nice enough. From my position on the ground, with my hands cuffed, and three security guys sitting on my neck, etc...

My only complaint was that if they need to charge me $30 because they're robbing the duck to pay the boar they might as well give me a more substantial portion of flour, water, and bits of meat.

You'll have to be more explicit. I meet so many stars.

Oh, that was you. Got you. No, you're not invited again. And you were late.

Seriously, nobody should pull his finger now that we've seen where it's been.

Walking up 5th Ave, round the corner from our apt.-- I guess in the early 90s--Ellen Barkin and Gabriel Byrne crossed us at an intersection. A group of youths shouted "Ellen", nobody seemed to recognize Byrne. I was tempted to shout out for him but thought better of it.
