A happy and healthy holiday season to all.

I will be heading down to Orlando for about 10 days or so and wanted to hear from some of the resident experts on Orlando's Best. I am not staying in, nor am I going to Disney World, but if it's worth going, I'd have no problem going there for dinner.

I've been to, and absolutely and greatly enjoy Christini's -- top notch all around!

I know there is a Shula's and Del Frisco's there -- any preferences? Is there a better steakhouse? Also, what's the best sushi place? Any other must go places? Thank you in advance.

Eric

Shula's is awful. Try Vito's. Bone-in ribeye is stellar!

Happy Holidays to you as well!

Advice would likely be the same as last time:

Nothing new, nothing exciting, new chefs, new menus, etc. ???

I would have thought the locals/experts would have some insight or commentary. I checked out the searches and didn't really come up with anything new, current, etc.

Anyway, any advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

NY Times has a visitor's guide to Orlando. Among places well mentioned are:

--Little Saigon, 1106 E. Colonial Dr./Hwy. 50, Orlando, FL, 32804 (just west of highway 92)
--Dandelion Communitea Cafe, 618 North Thornton Ave, Orlando, Florida, 32803 (just south of 50, and west of 92)
--Doc's, 1315 South Orange Ave, Orlando, Florida, 32806 (near the Orlando regional hospital)

Mouse is not on the menu
My only complaint was that if they need to charge me $30 because they're robbing the duck to pay the boar they might as well give me a more substantial portion of flour, water, and bits of meat.

Orik, on the pasta price at Hearth in NYC
